At Aurum Prep, we are more than a school. We are a community of caring, top quality educators, dedicated to our work. We empower our students to believe in their abilities, recognize how they belong, and become leaders in their lives. We promise to educate every student for a college degree and a life of ethical leadership from the moment they enter our doors.
Every Friday, each grade level gathers in a Community Circle to celebrate the Growth Scholar and Golden Scholar of the week. Students receive recognition for how they have faced challenges and grown through adversity as well as recognition for academic achievement. They answer questions about the week’s scholastic materials and are given points for college level answers.
Being witnessed and celebrated by teachers and peers is a powerful team building activity and just one of many reasons our students love their time with us.
